Gary S. Yonemoto, DDS, MS

Dr. Gary Yonemoto has been providing for the Endodontic needs of his patients since 1980.  He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree and is a graduate of Loma Linda School of Dentistry where he obtained his Master of Science Degree in Endodontics.

His professional interest is with organized dentistry and helping to improve the oral care of the public.  Dr. Yonemoto is the past president of the Honolulu County Dental Society and the Hawaii Dental Association as well as serving on numerous state and national dental councils and committees.  He currently serves as one of only seventeen Trustees for the American Dental Association.

Dr. Yonemoto has been listed as one of Honolulu Magazines “Best Dentists” since 2003.


Wade K. Nobuhara, DDS, MS

Dr. Nobuhara joined Endodontic Specialists, Inc in 1992. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School and completed his endodontic training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Nobuhara has served as President of both the Honolulu County Dental Society and the Hawaii Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Dr. Cecile Sebastian, and their family.






Patrick J. Munley, DMD, MS

Dr. Munley was born and raised in Sugar Notch, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology from Hamilton College and his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation he was commissioned as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy where he served for 20 years. During this time, he completed a two-year Postgraduate Endodontics residency training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, twice receiving the top resident award among all specialties. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Oral Biology from George Washington University.

Dr. Munley is married to Lisa C. Ishikawa of Honolulu, Hawaii. They have three children, Malia, Patrick and Maya. In his free time, Dr. Munley enjoys attending his children’s sporting and theatre activities and following Notre Dame football.


Rachel M. Yorita, DDS

Dr. Yorita was born and raised in Southern California. She received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA and went on to complete her dental degree at University of Southern California where she earned the distinction of being elected to the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Prior to her endodontics training she graduated from a 2 year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry through Lutheran Medical Center in Honolulu. She went on to specialize in endodontics at Tufts University of Dental Medicine. Dr. Yorita currently serves as a volunteer clinical instructor for the dental residents at Queen’s Medical Center and Lutheran Medical Center in Waianae.
In her free time, Dr. Yorita enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, watching movies and hanging out with her friends and family.




Carol Diener Weber, DDS, MS

Dr. Carol Diener Weber is a native of Lombard, Illinois. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois dental school, completed her Endodontics residency training at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland and received a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology, George Washington University. She is a Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics, attained Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow, International College of Dentists. Currently serving on active duty as a Captain in the United States Navy Dental Corps, she is the Endodontics Command Consultant at the Naval Health Clinic, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. In her spare time, Dr. Weber enjoys many outdoor activities and traveling with her husband, Dr. Kevin Weber.




Aric Petersen, DDS, MS

Dr. Petersen was born and raised in Gilbert, AZ. He received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2008 and was inducted to the Tau Kappa Omega honor society. Upon graduation, he was accepted to the Endodontic residency at St. Louis University where he earned his Endodontic certificate and MS degree in 2010.

After his residency, Dr. Petersen joined the United States Navy and was sent to Marine Corps Base Hawaii for his first duty station from 2010-2013. After being transferred to Pensacola, Florida for his final year in the Navy, he decided to return to Hawaii upon completion of his service.

Dr. Petersen enjoys spending time with his wife and children and loves all the outdoor recreation Hawaii has to offer. He particularly enjoys hiking, camping at the beach, scuba diving and night snorkeling.




Michele “Miki” Choy

Michele “Miki” Choy has been a valued employee of Endodontic Specialists, Inc since its inception. She currently serves as our Office Manager and oversees the daily operations of the practice. Miki is also the primary contact for employment opportunities with Endodontic Specialists, Inc.
